Stigmaergy is an experimental music project that consists of two members Max McCargar (Sunstitutor) and Alexandros Koliousios (KRS). Although they live in the two opposite sides of the globe, namely USA and Greece, they managed to work together and co-create. The way they compose is very akin to the spontaneous and horizontal organization that one sees in ant and bee colonies and thus resulted the name Stigmaergy.
The members of this project have also their own solo musical projects.

Max McCargar releases his music under the name of Sunstitutor. Through Sunstitutor he experiments with music theory concepts and production ideas trying to imbue essence into the music through instrumentation, arrangement and audio engineering.

Alexandros calls his project KRS which is the endeavour of one person to purely express his spirit through the medium of sound. Every composition is aiming to reach and communicate with the pure spirit of the listener, bypassing the conscious mind which is conditioned by culture and language.
